The Truth about TYPING IN CAPS

Consider this a public service announcement, for those of you who don't know better:  Please don't TYPE IN CAPS.  Those of us who live in the technology world equate typing in caps to screaming, and quite literally we hear a screaming voice in our heads every time we read an email written in all caps.  If you don't believe me, try this definition from Wikipedia:

On Internet chat systems and Usenet, typing in all capitals is considered rude, the large letters akin to shouting or yelling within the social context. On a more practical level, caps lock may be difficult to read. [1]A user who excessively uses capital letters may be advised to "lay off the caps lock."

If you're still not convinced, please read this email & IM etiquette posting.  Oh, and thank you for not shouting.  :)

Looking For A "Drill Sergeant" On Sales And Marketing

On SEBASTIAN MARSHALL

Hi readers!

I'm looking for a "drill sergeant" -- or something like that -- on sales and marketing. I've put a lot of the skills together, though there's a couple rough points in my skillset. The biggest thing missing right now, though, is consistency.

So, I'm looking for a regular ass-kicking. This could be a fit if you're a veteran in sales or marketing, or it could be if it's something you're already actively involved in and want a mutual kick-in-the-ass. This could be a compensated role, or a knowledge share, or whatever -- I'm open. Email sebastian @ thisdomain and let's talk.

Cheers, Sebastian
