Fundraising Panel at TechCocktail's Startup Mixology Event

Props to Frank Gruber and his entire TechCocktail crew for a great event in DC last week called the Startup Mixology conference.

Steve Case gave the keynote, followed by a variety of panels and presentations.

I was on a fundraising panel that explored various aspects of raising money for a startup. You can find the live blog transcript of the panel here.  On a related note, I've written a series of blog posts about our experience raising $1MM for AppMakr.  The raise took us 14 weeks, and my goal is to help other entrepreneurs do it more quickly and efficiently.  You can read about my "Fundraising Cribsheet Manifesto" here.  Hope it's helpful.
