Social Matchbox Event Rocked!

Congrats to the folks at SocialMatchbox for putting on a great DC startup competition.

My favorite presentation was by Ben Slavin of HelioGraph.  A truly simple, "why didn't I think of that" business concept that he's already gotten a lot of traction with.  I love Ben's mantra along the lines of "80% of the functionality for 10% of the cost," referring to companies like Akamai that have completely missed the small to medium sized business market for website optimization.
