Disruptathon mobile event recap

Kudos to Pete Erickson for a spectacular Disruptathon event at Teqcorner in McLean, VA today.  PointAbout was a sponsor of the event.

The thing I love about Disruptathon is the voting power it gives the audience through iPod Touch devices.  Attendees can also download the Disruptathon app from the iTunes AppStore on their own devices.

A partial video of the event is below (battery died about 70% of the way through - sorry).  A more professional video will be uploaded shortly, and I'll link to it here when it's up.

Video is ~56 minutes long and may take up to 30 seconds to start playing.

Guy Vidra of The Washington Post event

Guy Vidra, who just left The Washington Post as the head of new media and mobile, spoke before a standing-room only crowd at 1410Q to share his learning and thoughts on The Mobile Pyramid over his time at the Post.

Guy discussed The Washington Posts's thoughts on SMS, The Mobile Web and iPhone, Android and Blackberry apps.

You can see the video of the event below.  Note: the event is 98 minutes long, so it may take ~30 seconds to buffer.
